Important Message about Senior Picnic

Dear Seniors and Parents,

The Picnic is this Friday, May 14th from 11:25am till 2:00 pm (3rd BLOCK), on the SOCCER FIELD unless otherwise announced/Rain Plans are in the Gym.

Parent volunteers are welcomed and needed.  Please come to the soccer field.  Help is needed anytime between 9:00 am for set up, serving at 11:30 and 2:00 pm for clean up.  Donations are still being accepted.  Please make checks to NOHS PTO and send to the school.  Tailgating TENTS are also needed!!  Please contact Cynthia Garrett at cgarrett5@charter.net if you have one that we can use.  We would need you to bring it at 9:00 am Friday to the soccer field…or earlier pick up will need to be arranged.

Please read the important information below regarding the picnic.

  1. Students are EXPECTED to attend the picnic.  Money has been spent on your behalf to come and enjoy the picnic.  Chic-Fil-A sandwiches along with a sack lunch will be served.  Each student will have to “check in” to prove their attendance.  Otherwise you will be counted absent.

  2. Students will have to be either checked out legally by 2pm or will be expected to be in 4th Block according to the bell system.

  3. Check out procedures are forthcoming, so listen up at school.  A parent note may be required Friday morning.  Just go ahead and be prepared and bring a note to be safe.

  4. A “10” class picture will be taken immediately after the check in process.  Please come to the soccer field quickly so that you can be in the picture.  We will not wait on you, so please come out quickly.

  5. The picture will be enlarged and framed.  We hope to have it on display at Graduation.  Afterwards, we plan to hang it in the school.

  6. A 5x7 copy of the picture will be given to each student as a keepsake.  They will be in your graduation diploma packets.

  7. Lunch will be served AFTER the class picture.

  8. Students are welcome to bring footballs, frisbees and of course the yearbooks.

  9. You will be eating on the ground, so you may want to bring a towel.
