Minority students and /or economically disadvantaged students who are interested in a career in health sciences, should consider a summer program at the Medical College of Georgia. This program is a seven week program where participants live on campus there in Augusta.At this program, students will receive enrichment of a student's knowledge of biomedical sciences, information about opportunities at MCG, career exploration, and help strengthening academic skills to better position oneself for admission into college. This program is quite competitive and open to students who are Georgia residents, US Citizens, demonstrated competence in math and science, a 'B' average, and competitive SAT or ACT scores.
