Important Message about Checking Your Student Out at Lunch Time

We would like to update you regarding our new lunch schedule and how it affects your student should you need to pick them up during this time.  Senior students are allowed to eat in the Commons area rather than the cafeteria.  Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors are required to spend the first half of the lunch period in the cafeteria and may choose to remain there for the second half of the lunch period or they may be released to go to the Media Center, Quiet Study Rooms or Remediation.  For this reason, finding students quickly during this time can prove to be a challenge.  Please communicate with your student if you have plans to pick them up during the lunch period of the school day so that they will let you know where they spend their lunch time and you will be able to assist school staff if the student is not in the cafeteria.
