Want to Take the PSAT and/or the PLAN?

PSAT- A shorter, practice version of the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test, used for admission to college), given to all freshmen and sophomores at North Oconee on October 12th at 8:15.  For the juniors who register, this test is a qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship Competition.

PLAN- A shorter, practice version of the ACT (American College Test, used for college admission decisions), given to any freshman, sophomore or junior who registers at North Oconee on November 9th at 8:15.

These tests are really helpful for students to get an idea where their scores are on each of these tests and provides valuable practice for a student.  The scores on each of these tests can be compared to one another to see which test a student is better suited towards.  Please consult the table below to see if your student is already registered for the PSAT.  Any parents/students wishing to register for one or both of these tests should bring a check for $16 per test made out to "North Oconee."  We will start taking registration for these tests on Monday September 19th and end on September 30th in the mornings, during lunch and after school.  Spaces for the PLAN and the PSAT are limited, so please do not delay.
