Earn College Credit Now! Come Learn How on November 1st

Are you interested in going to your graduation ceremony with multiple college credits earned?  Do you feel like you could be better spending your electives in high school than the classes that you have been choosing?  Earning college credits while you are still in high school is quite doable.  Many North Oconee students have looked to Gainesville State College, Athens Tech, UGA, or Piedmont College in Athens to supply them with coursework that has taken the place of one or more classes each semester.  On November 1st at 6 pm, there will be an informational meeting in the Fine Arts Auditorium at NOHS that will teach you about Dual Enrollment, Move On When Ready, and ACCEL Programs.  These are amazing opportunities for students, but they are not necessarily without "red-tape."  This meeting will inform you about and prepare you for these programs.  Typically, these programs are done during the junior and/or senior years.  If you are going to be either one of these next year, or you are a precocious freshman, you are welcome to attend this meeting.
