The ANNpower Vital Voices Initiative is a groundbreaking partnership with ANN INC., parent company of Ann Taylor and LOFT. We are working together to empower young women from across the U.S. to affect global progress, invest in their communities and be inspired by the work of the women in Vital Voices' Global Leadership Network.
At the 10th Annual Global Leadership Awards, we challenged 500 young women in the audience to take the inspiration and the energy from that evening from the stories they heard and the women they met, and — in their own way, within their local communities — pay it forward. Since then, young women from across the U.S. have submitted their proposals for how they want to see change in their communities and around the world. We selected 10 projects that are now being instituted by young women across the country, who have taken the first step in their journeys as leaders and global trailblazers.
NOW, we challenge YOU to join these inspiring young women and make your first ripple. From now until March 31st, we are searching the country to find young women who are the leaders of tomorrow. We will select 50 rising high school juniors and seniors to become 2012 ANNpower Fellows. ANNpower Fellows are committed to creating positive and sustainable change in their communities and across the globe. Fellows will join an elite group of rising stars at our Leadership Forum to provide them with skills, tools and training need to realize their full leadership potential. Apply now!
