Interviewing well is a skill that will ultimately open many doors for you throughout your life. Without the ability to represent yourself well in this format, you could possibly cut yourself off from jobs, scholarships and admissions to colleges that utilize the interview as a part of their admissions criteria. Some students are getting ready for Governor's Honors Program in the future. GHP definitely utilizes the interview. The folks in the NOHS Guidance Office and a group of leaders from Oconee Leadership are teaming up to offer mock interviews. These interviews will mimic a real-life scenario where the "candidate" will prepare a resume, dress for the occasion, and mentally prepare for the experience. All interviews will be video recorded so students can critique themselves and will receive immediate feedback from the interview experience. The first session of the mock interviews will be held on Thursday, November 29th after school. Any student who completes the application that is attached below and returns it by Tuesday, November 27th to the Guidance Office will be included in this unique opportunity. Whether you are a freshman or a senior, you NEED this opportunity to gain this vital skill.
