Driver's Education Opportunities

There are two local providers of driver's education courses.  As you know, if your student completes a driver's education course, he or she will satisfy one of the requirements to get a drivers license and will qualify for an annual discount on their car insurance.  If you want to learn more about driver's ed., here are the two resources:

1. See Ms. Taylor or Nurse Warden at North Oconee.  THey have offered quality instruction for more than four years now to the students of Oconee County.

2. Open Road Services is another provider as well.  They are offering a free-workshop:

April 22 from 6-8pm
Georgia Teens Ride With P.R.I.D.E.(Parents Reducing Injuries and Driver Error) is a FREE, National Award- Winning two-hour course designed to help parents and their new (or soon to be) teen drivers, ages 14-16, learn what they need to do during the 40 hours of supervised practice driving time required by Georgia law.
This class is a open to all students and parents in Clarke county as well as surrounding counties! Parents and teens must register and attend together.
