Southern Poly Tech would like to invite female students to their
second annual Southern Poly Women’s Day on February 10, 2014! This is a great opportunity for them
to experience all that SPSU has to offer and to learn how women can thrive in
STEM fields. During the event, students will learn everything from
admission requirements, financial aid, what to do once they've been accepted,
campus life, housing, and much more. They will also have the opportunity to
meet current SPSU faculty, staff, and students. Below are the details of the
event:
Tentative Schedule:
7:00am: Optional early check-in (includes breakfast and
sitting in on a class)
8:00am: Check-in
9:00am: Welcome/Kickoff
10:00am: Campus tour
11:00am: Lunch at Stingers
11:45am: Organization Fair
12:20pm-3:30pm: STEM Sessions
3:45pm: Wrap-up
