Jodie Anderson is looking forward to working with our families at North Oconee High School. She will be handling students with the last name of A-F. Mrs. Anderson has served in the Student Support field for fourteen years in Georgia Public Schools. Jodie has spent most of her fourteen years in education at the high school level. Mrs. Anderson spent seven years in Clarke County as a Behavior Specialist and High School Counselor, receiving her Ed.S. in Professional School Counseling from UGA in 2013. Prior to that, Mrs. Anderson spent seven years in Roswell, Georgia as a School Social Worker at Centennial High School. As a University of Georgia graduate, she is thrilled to be living back in Athens with her husband Blake, and two children, Charlsie and Wright
Katie Wood is excited also excited about serving the students with the last names G-O.
Ms. Katie M. Wood has been in the School Counseling field for three years, with nine years prior in the field of Social Work. She is joining the NOHS staff from Gwinnett County, where she worked in the Middle School setting, focusing on crisis intervention, classroom guidance, and career planning. Before becoming a School Counselor, Ms. Wood worked in Washington D.C. and metro Atlanta areas as a Social Worker, serving a variety of populations, including people who are homeless, adults in the hospital setting, children/teens with cancer, and children/teens with special needs.
