Ordering FSA Publications
On Sept. 27, we completed the transition to our new publication distribution center and launched our new publication ordering website.
To order publications, you'll want to start at FinancialAidToolkit.ed.gov/orderpubs, where you'll find information about our publications and a link to the publication ordering site. The design of the ordering site has changed and the ordering process is a bit different, but you still have access to the same free publications. The main changes to the ordering process are that you will no longer need to log in to order publications, and you won't be able to see your past account or order information.
If you're new to ordering publications or want to know more, you can learn about ordering publications.
Please direct students and their parents to StudentAid.gov/resources, where they can browse publications, videos, and graphics and order print copies of certain items.
Order publications at FinancialAidToolkit.ed.gov/orderpubs.New Edition of the FSA Partner Spotlight
Are you searching for ways to collaborate with community partners to promote financial aid awareness, increase parental engagement in the financial aid process, or create a culture of FAFSA completion among your students? In the latest edition of the FSA Partner Spotlight, our featured partners share how they have achieved all of the above and more through their innovating programming.
We would love to hear from you! If your district, school, or organization is interested in being featured in the FSA Partner Spotlight, please contact fsapartners.ed.gov.
Easy-to-Use Social Media Resources to Promote FAFSA Completion
Social media is a great way to disseminate financial aid information and engage students and parents. Creating resources and social media content can be time-consuming, so we've done the work for you. Here are some easy-to-share Facebook and Twitter posts, YouTube videos, infographics, and blog posts.
Additionally, we've written a number of blog posts that address some of the most common questions we get about the financial aid process. Read our blog posts and subscribe.
Finally, on the last Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m. ET, we host an open Q&A session on Twitter called #AskFAFSA Office Hours. "FAFSA Frenzy" is the topic for the Oct. 25, 2017, #AskFAFSA Office Hours. Due to the holidays, our November #AskFAFSA Office Hours will be held on Nov. 15, 2017. The topic will be "Repaying Student Loans" and the Federal Trade Commission will join us as a co-host. In December, #AskFAFSA Office Hours will resume a normal schedule. View transcripts of past #AskFAFSA Office Hours.
We encourage you to follow us and share any content from our pages.
Additional Resources for Your FAFSA Outreach
We've created resources (e.g., fact sheets, videos, brochures, infographics, PowerPoint presentations) that share information about the FAFSA process. Be sure you know where to get our resources for you—and where to send students and parents so they can check out our resources for them.
For you, the counselor or advisor: At FinancialAidToolkit.ed.gov/resources, you'll find a search tool that you can use to filter resources by type, audience, and topic. You'll find webinars for your professional development and PowerPoint presentations you can adapt for your school's/organization's college night, as well as plenty of items you can pass along to students.
For students and parents: StudentAid.gov/resources offers dozens of items that explain the federal student aid programs and application process to students and parents.
Visit FinancialAidToolkit.ed.gov/resources for items for you; send students and parents to StudentAid.gov/resources.
