What's Your Major?

As we begin winding down senior meetings and start gearing up for the Spring semester with registration and junior meetings, the New York Times posted a concise, yet thorough article for students and parents.  It addresses the age old question, "What is going to be your major?"  Our students say that question, along with "Where are you applying to college?" are the two most frequently asked questions that they encounter.  Many students are left wondering if they are behind in knowing what career path to take, and others are asking does it matter?  Don't most college students change their major anyway?  The NYT does a great job of providing myths, along with points of context, that parents and students should give consideration when answering the question about selecting a major.  Check out the post to see if your thoughts are myth or fact when it comes to the selection of a major.
