The 10th Annual Apex Leadership Summit at Ole Miss will be held on our campus this summer. Three sessions will be offered: June 10-13, June 24-27, and July 8-11, 2018. Selected rising seniors (class of 2019) will experience a program packed with leadership development, team building, and sessions covering ethics and social responsibility, problem-solving, developing a leadership resume, and community outreach. Ole Miss staff and student leaders will supervise team-building sessions. Students will also participate in the Rebel Challenge Ropes Course, community outreach projects, and informational meetings with various academic programs.
Selection to this program is on a competitive basis. We are looking for students who have demonstrated leadership or leadership potential in their high school and community. If you think you might be interested in this Summit, please contact your counselor. The deadline for contacting your counselor is Friday, March 23rd, 2018. Selected students will be asked to pay a $100 participation fee or provide an ACT/SAT waiver, in lieu of the fee. Students are also responsible for travel to and from Oxford. Transportation will be arranged from Memphis International Airport, if needed. All other program expenses will be covered by the university.
