I wanted to let you know about a college scholarship offered through the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta specifically for students in Oconee County. The Everett Williams Scholarship awards up to $1,500 annually and is renewable for up to four years. High school seniors from Oconee County with a 3.0 GPA or higher are eligible to apply.
Historically, the Community Foundation has received very few applicants for this scholarship. We would greatly appreciate your support in promoting the scholarship to your students. I have attached a flyer outlining the scholarship application process. Students and faculty are also welcome to attend the Community Foundation’sscholarship webinar next Tuesday, December 18 at 11 a.m. to learn more about the application process and other scholarships offered through the Foundation.
