Admission Mystery: Follow the Clues

High school is filled with transitions and milestone moments.   As your student enters high school, you will find that time flies by faster and faster.  College admissions is one process that will be in the back of your mind from freshman year and then as a junior, you are hit with the thought of where did the time go?  The article below by Rick Clark addresses how the process of college admissions can be time consuming and require lots of conversation, but the process will help you and your child prepare for their journey after NOHS.

Registration is on the horizon and students should contemplate many aspects when considering their courses for the 2019/2020 school year.  Are they going to be challenged?  Will their life have balance?  Where do they want to apply to college and what are the admissions requirements of the college?  What is their HOPE/Zell Miller GPA and how will their schedule impact their grades?  Mr. Clark addresses how decisions during the high school years should guide their college journey.

Take some time to reflect what you want your milestone memories to consist of; ask yourself if they align with where you want to be when your journey at NOHS ends and another one begins.
