Guided Pathway Support Program

The Guided Pathway Support Program is now accepting applications from the Classes of 2020 and 2021!
The Guided Pathway Support Program (GPS) is a free college access program that empowers African-American high school juniors, seniors, and their parents through the college application process by providing the inspiration and information needed to reach their best-fit colleges. 

  • Direct services through every stage of the college and scholarship application process, such as college essay and resume reviews
  • Scholarship search and application assistance
  • Financial aid & FAFSA counseling
  • Weekly college advising webinars
  • Access to GPS Educational Partner colleges
  • Connect to the Ron Brown Scholar Program leadership community
Eligible applicants must:
  • Identify as African American
  • Have a strong academic record (no minimum GPA requirement)
  • Be a current sophomore or junior in high school
  • Have demonstrated leadership and active involvement at school and/or in the community.
