Preparing for a career in computer and data science
Dear Christy,
I hope you encourage your students to consider joining my colleagues and students in computer and data sciences at CWRU for an online information session specific to woman-identifying students interested in STEM careers.
The Women in STEM webinar will take place Thursday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. EST.
In the webinar students will:
- Learn about the department and course of study
- Discuss groups and initiatives that enhance the experience for women in computing at CWRU
- Learn about careers in the field and how students can prepare to major in computer and data science
- Hear from current students about their experiences as women in STEM
- Get questions answered by a panel of CWRU faculty, students and admission counselors
