Our schedule looks different this year so our college visit timeframe has also shifted. The visits will be virtual this year and they will be offered at 1:20-1:50 pm. This falls during a students study hall or 5th lunch, so all students should be allowed to attend the session of interest from their classroom or the place that they eat lunch. To attend the visit, a link will be provided to students through SCOIR on the day of the event. The link will be available through the college visit calendar on SCOIR. Students should bring headphones to plug into their Chromebook so that they can listen to the session without disturbing others. Students can register to attend college visits by logging into SCOIR and clicking on their visit of interest.
We have emailed our presentation on how to create a SCOIR account to our 10th & 11th graders. Our 12th graders were given the presentation last week. We have not mentioned this platform to 9th graders just yet. We didn't want to overwhelm them with learning about the college process when they haven't even gotten their minds wrapped around beginning high school. However, if a 9th grader is interested, the information to access SCOIR is listed below.
Both links are listed below:
We are excited about our college visit line up that starts on Monday, August 31st. Stay up to date on who is visiting our campus by looking at the college visit calendar on the NOHS counseling tab.
