Harvey Mudd College

Harvey Mudd College is holding its annual FAST (Future Achievers in Science & Technology) Program, and we hope you’ll encourage your students to apply.  We have already held our first of three programs, but two more sessions remain on September 26th and October 10th with 75 students in each session.

The Future Achievers in Science and Technology (FAST) program provides high-achieving, college-bound high school seniors with an opportunity to interact with Harvey Mudd students, professors and other college-bound students who share a passion for the STEM fields. FAST participants will learn first-hand about our campus community by working with current students and admission staff via virtual mini groups. FAST will also have sessions to learn about research, student life and a session to ask admission staff any questions they have about our admission process. The FAST program is intended for students from groups traditionally underrepresented in STEM. We seek applications from students who identify as women; Black, Latinx and Native American/Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students;  students from low income or rural backgrounds, students with disabilities, or students who are first-generation to college.  Applications are due Sunday.  https://www.hmc.edu/admission/fast/

Questions about students who are not able to complete their applications by September 13, or for general program information should be directed to Roberto Peña at rpena@hmc.edu.   No recommendations, official transcripts or test scores are required for the application.
