Tuesday, January 12, 1:20 pm to 1:50 pm: Young Scholars Presentation. Presentation by Paul Paterson (alumni that participated in the program) and Maria Navarro (parent and UGA representative). Presenters will share their experiences and insights about the UGA Young Scholars summer program. The program has age requirements (see program link) but all grade levels are welcome to attend to learn more about the program. Updates will also be provided for the Summer 2021 experience. Parents and students are welcome to join the presentation on Tuesday, January 12th at 1:20 pm by clicking on the google meet link below. Applications are due January 31st.
Friday, January 15, 1:20 om to 1:50 pm: UGA's CURO (Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities) Honors Scholarship Presentation. The CURO Honors Scholarship, a four-year scholarship at UGA for students interested in undergraduate research. Presentation by Dr. Maria Navarro, Associate Director of UGA's Honors Program and CURO. Seniors: Applications due February 1. The program has a grade level requirement to apply but all grade levels are welcome to attend the session to learn more about the program.
