UNG Announcement:
I hope the 2021-2022 school year has gotten off to a great start! I wanted to make you aware of an upcoming event specifically for UNG’s currently enrolled Dual Enrollment high school seniors on Wednesday, September 29th from 4pm-5pm titled “Dual Enrollment Next Steps College Expo.” Attached is a flyer for the event.
This event will cover the Admissions process for Dual Enrollment students to transition to UNG as a freshman, present tips for their college search, talk about majors that are offered at UNG, and provide the next steps for after they have been accepted to UNG as a freshman. The event will take place in person across all five of our campuses as well as through Zoom. It will also be recorded for future dissemination.
We would like you to help advertise the event. Each UNG Dual Enrollment high school senior will be notified of the event via their UNG student email, but word of mouth is very powerful. If you speak with any high school senior that you know participates in Dual Enrollment at UNG, we would appreciate it if you would mention the event to them. We are asking that students register for the event beforehand through UNG Connect which they can access through the QR code on the attached flyer.
