2nd Annual Virtual College Information Event

 All of us at UNG hope that you had a restful winter break and were able to recharge for 2022. We are excited to share the Save the Date below for our 2nd Annual Virtual College Information Event. The event this year will feature the same important information about preparing to apply to and pay for college, as well as the popular faculty panel and student panel. Your scholars, parents, mentors, and coaches in the schools will be able to hear from not only UNG faculty, staff and students, but also from REACH GA and Georgia Student Finance Commission experts on accessing and utilizing the GA Futures account. We have also added a special session on Getting Connected in College which will focus on student organizations, clubs and athletics. The social connection and sense of belonging on a college campus is a critical component to student success in college. We want them to know about all the opportunities available to them and how they can connect on their campus.

When registering for the event this year, attendees will have the option to register for specific sessions. Attendees can register for one or two sessions, or all of them. We hope that this new format will provide more flexibility for your students, their parents and everyone that supports them in their academic journey. The sessions will be recorded and shared after the event.

 

While the event focuses on REACH Georgia scholars, the event is open to all students, parents, and guardians. The information provided in the presentations will be generic enough that it will be beneficial to all.
