For convenience, the application is broken into two packets: one to be completed by the student, and one to be completed by the student's bank and turned in together to CBA by the bank.

*The Best Scholarship Search Platforms of 2018
College is the most expensive it’s ever been. With tuition rates rising an average of 3.5% every year, the average undergraduate now finishes their degree with over $37,000 in student debt.
Scholarships are one of the best ways to reduce these growing costs and scholarship search platforms exist to help students find the most relevant ones. These platforms compile large databases of available scholarships and provide filters to allow students to maximize their searches.

This guide was created to review the best scholarship search platforms and instruct students on how to use them effectively to find as many opportunities as possible.

*Georgia Club Scholarship
It was an honor working with you on The Georgia Club Foundation Scholarships during the FY17 school year and it is with great pleasure that I attach the information about The Georgia Club Foundation Scholarships for 2017-2018. This is the sixth year that The Georgia Club Foundation has offered scholarship opportunities to the high school students in Oconee, Barrow and Clarke Counties. Your North Oconee High School students have excelled in earning our scholarships and I know it is due to your diligence and support in getting students to complete the applications.
There are a few things that we will do a little differently this year with our scholarship awards. First, our final date for receiving all scholarship applications is midnight of April 24. Any applications received after April 24 will not be eligible for an award so students need to give themselves plenty of time for the US mail. Secondly, scholarship winners will receive scholarships at a dinner in their honor at 5:30 on Sunday, June 3, at The Georgia Club Ballroom. Previously, we have attended your Honors Night to award the scholarships, but we will not be doing that this year. We will have our Foundation Sponsors at the June 3 dinner and ask the scholarship winners and parents to attend and receive the scholarship awards. We will notify the students of their awards, but we will not disclose the amount until the dinner on June 3.
Attached is the 2018 The Georgia Club Foundation Scholarship Application. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me or call me at 404-630-4560. (I will be out of the country from April 11-April 22 and my access will be limited during that time.)

Thank you, again, for your support and encouragement of The Georgia Club Foundation Scholarships. Our selection committee looks forward to your students’ applications.
