We often tell our students at NOHS that you need the entire package to earn admissions to selective colleges and/or earn scholarships (locally and nationally). Community Service can be an important piece of the puzzle that our students are often missing. Being active in the community takes time, and many of our students don't have a whole lot of time to give. They are so involved with sports, fine arts, CTAE organizations, and academics that it leaves little time for community service. This year the NOHS Guidance Office wants to try to help them realize that giving back doesn't have to take a lot of time. Check out the link below for a list of community service events that are going on in our area that high school and middle school students can participate in.
