We are gearing up for a fantastic school year this year. The Guidance Office staff has been working all summer long to address class schedules so that all of North Oconee students will start the school year off with a complete schedule. Most of our efforts have gone into working with the schedules that did not make (or had holes in it). Each of these has been addressed to this point. To date, we have physically looked at and worked on about 500 schedules. That means that 550 have not been looked at by us. This means that each student and parent needs to carefully look at their schedule to see if the fall semester looks ok and to predict if spring semester will be heavy on the academic end because fall was missing some academics. Please know that the master schedule and all individual schedules are build by an automated system. Human attention is needed to verify the worth of the schedule. Please make sure to inspect the schedule that you see on PowerSchool, and do not assume that all schedules have been considered by the Guidance Office Personnel.
