This coming Saturday, October 08, from 9:00 AM through 11:00 AM, we are holding our annual “Park and Creek Clean-up” at Harris Shoals Park in Watkinsville. I was wondering if you would mind forwarding this information to the high schools in the hopes that maybe a few members of the service clubs or individuals could or would like to help us out. The City will supply the trash bags and gloves. The Council and I would very much enjoy meeting and working with some high school volunteers who would like to donate a couple of hours of their time to help our park look even nicer.
