This Wednesday is a Big Day at NOHS (PSAT)

NOHS is always a happenin' place, but this coming Wednesday, October 12, we are taking it up a notch!  There are various activities that students might be involved with.  Below is a break down of what students will be doing and how the day will break down.  Because students will be in a variety of places, any avoidable appointments would best be made after 11:45 am.

PSAT- ALL 9th and 10th grade students and the 11th grade students who registered will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday.  They need a calculator and a couple of number 2 pencils.  The test will run from approximately 8:15 to 11:15.  Students can easily find where they are to report by looking at the rosters that have been taped up on the windows in the corridor between the front office area and the commons area.

The Juniors who did not register for the PSAT- These students will report directly to the Fine Arts Auditorium at 8:15.  The Counselors have put together some college application basics, military information, and college application essay writing help that we believe juniors could really benefit from.  There will be a variety of breakout sessions that students will attend.  This day is going to be a great help to students.  ATTENDANCE WILL BE TAKEN IN THE FINE ARTS AUDITORIUM.

The Seniors- Seniors are invited and expected to attend a pancake breakfast put together by the wonderful volunteers of our PTO.  (Just one of the ways that your membership dollar goes to serve your student!)  In addition to eating a fellowship with your senior class, we will be taking the class picture and covering a ton of graduation information that all seniors will want to know.  This is going to be a very fun and filling meeting!  ATTENDANCE WILL BE TAKEN IN THE CAFETERIA.
