]We are pleased to announce that the College of Computing’s Office of Outreach, Enrollment, and Community will be offering 7 different summer camps for high school students with various interests and levels of experience. Below you will find the dates and topics for each camp. Also, attached to this email is an electronic version of the camp flier for you to share with family and friends.
The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) is offering 3 weeks for high school students (rising 9th-12th):
· June 11-15, 2012 - High School (rising 9th-12th) - Mobile Apps with App Inventor
· July 9-13, 2012 - High School (rising 9th-12th) Creating Music with EarSketch
· July 30-Aug 3, 2012 - High School (rising 9th-12th) - Artificial Life with Alice, LEGO NXT, and LEGO Tetrix

Enrollment Programs is offering 4 camps for high school students (rising 9th – graduating seniors):
· June 4-8, 2012 or July 9-13, 2012: Project Animations – Create and animate a computer controlled marionette puppet
· June 11-15, 2012 or July 16-20, 2012: Project Music Tee – Create a shirt that plays musical tones
· June 8-22, 2012 or July 23-27, 2012: Project Cruise Control – Build a car and maneuver it with your mind
· June 25-29, 2012 or July 30-August 3, 2012: Project Game Design – Create a game and design a controller to go with it
