On October 15th, we will give the PSAT at NOHS during the first two blocks. For those of us who do not know what a PSAT is, it is a timed practice SAT. By taking the PSAT, your student will gain important practice and understanding about the SAT. If you are the parent of a senior, this message is not for you. Parents of freshmen and sophomores, your student is already registered for this test. Put your wallet back in your pocket, because this one is on us!
Parents of Juniors:
You REALLY want to have your student take the PSAT, as it is a qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship.
You must register your student to take the PSAT. The cost is $16. Registration for this test has been made easy this year. You can register to take this test by going to https://user.totalregistration.net/PSAT/110401. Payment with a credit card simplifies the whole process. The deadline to register your student is October 8th, but why wait? You can go on right now and get this deal done!
