Hello Members and Friends of the
Hardigree Wildlife Sanctuary…………….
We’re having a ‘community work day’ on Saturday, November 17, 10 AM – 2 PM
Come 1, come ALL – there’s lots to do! Come spend an hour or two in the great outdoors, breathe some fresh air, and make a difference.
We’ll have plenty of water and snacks, but PLEASE let us know if you can be there so we can be prepared. Let us know byNovember 15.
Projects: rake leaves, spread mulch in flower garden and around young trees, pull/cut/spray weeds, trim low tree branches, work on trails, spruce up the primitive camp site, maintain the ‘tree climb’ area, cut grass, pick up limbs, paint, etc. --- as you can see there’s something for everyone --- no skill needed, just a desire to help create Oconee’s 1st Outdoor Education Center.
Tools to bring: work gloves, hard-tooth rakes, leaf rakes, weed/limb loppers, limb saws, chainsaws, weed-eaters, small trailers to haul sticks & limbs, wheelbarrows to move mulch, etc.
Thank you so much for your support.
