Maker Faire is Headed To Atl!

Happy New Year! Happy New Year! We are a little over halfway into January and starting to think about what this year’s Faire might look like. We are very appreciative of your past support and hope you continue to support your local Maker community along with the many Maker related events throughout the Southeast. This year we expect to improve on communications and be a stronger advocate for the community; urban, suburban, and rural. Here’s an event to be excited about.  If you are a Maker with a product, or a Maker focused company, this Tech and STEM event will be a great opportunity to show your technology or service. The Tech Community Expo, which coincides with STEM school spirit night, is a technology showcase event being produced by Atlanta Tech Park, the premier technology accelerator in the Southeast, and the 2017 world champion Georgia Swarm lacrosse team. The event takes place on Friday, Feb. 1st, at Infinite Energy Center in Duluth. All startups who participate in the event can have a vendor table at the Expo and during the game. Each participating company is also invited to attend the VIP reception before the game and receives two tickets to attend the game at night. Startups can also propose or accept a tech challenge from the sponsors of the event. This is also a great opportunity to network with other tech companies in the region and reach thousands of potential new customers.   By sponsoring this event, you have the opportunity to speak at the VIP reception featuring tech executives from across the Southeast region in addition to having marquee advertisements for your product or company during the game.
