The 2022 National Recognition Program application cycle will open on Friday, April 15. Eligible sophomores and juniors will receive an email from College Board inviting them to apply, and educators will receive a list of eligible students from their school. If you know a student who meets the eligibility criteria listed on our website but hasn't received an invitation, please encourage them to self-nominate through our website starting April 15.
Students who have a 3.5 GPA or higher, take the PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, or AP® Exams, and identity as African American, Hispanic, Indigenous, or attend school in a rural or small town may be eligible for national recognition. Students must identify with at least one of the four groups listed to be eligible.
The application deadline is Wednesday, June 15, at 11:59 p.m. ET. This application is free of charge.
