The Next IT Girl believes that all students can and should benefit from a summer camp experience, especially those who may otherwise be unable to attend due to financial constraints or family situations. The 'IT Girl' Summer Series Scholarship program awards two deserving students with full assistance in attending the 'IT Girl' Summer Series. The scholarship program combats the summer learning loss by providing assistance to two families in Austin, TX and Atlanta, GA between the ages of 8 and 16.
Scholarships are limited to two participants and awarded based on a committee decision.
All portions of the application must be completed before review. In order to qualify for a scholarship, you must fall within one of the following categories and provide the indicated written response with the application:
1. Must reside in either Austin, TX or Atlanta, GA
2. Student must be available and agree to attend each session of the series June 4th - June 25th (Saturdays)
3. Must be a young women of color between the ages of 8-16.
*Once the scholarship application is submitted, it will be reviewed and recipients will be notified by April 29, 2022 via email.
