If your student is interested in attending college as a high school student, this is a must attend event. It will be held in the Fine Arts Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th, 2013.
Admissions counselors from Athens Tech, Piedmont College, Gainesville State College, and the University of Georgia will be in house to discuss the positive and negative components of joint enrollment. There are several factors to consider: admissions requirements (SAT/ACT, Grade point average), scheduling concerns, financial components (HOPE scholarship, HOPE grant, money out of pocket), transportation, etc. This decision is multi-faceted and should be discussed by the admissions experts and your student's counselor.
