Colleges in Your Backyard!

Just wanted to get the word out that UGA will be hosting our annual Colleges in Your Backyard event on Sunday, January 18th.  This is a great program for high school students and their parents to learn about the college admissions process and discover the post-high school opportunities found in the local area. Representatives from Athens Technical College, University of North Georgia, Piedmont College and UGA will be on hand to talk about navigating the college search.  We’ll be sending emails out to local students and our campus community, but I hope that you will share this information with your students and parents and encourage them to attend.  There is no cost to attend the event and parking will be free.
