Each summer, the American Legion sponsors a model senate experience for high school students to learn more about government. This program is held in the state of Georgia over the following dates: Boys State- June 14-20 at Riverside Military Academy and Girls State- June 14-19 at Georgia Southern University. This is a very important part of an application to a Military Service Academy, so if you have your hopes set on West Point, Annapolis, The Air Force Academy, Coast Guard or Merchant Marine Academies, you will want to make plans to attend this summer program.
