Georgia Virtual School courses are offered to students at North Oconee High School. For several years, Virtual School courses have been a feature that NOHS students have taken advantage of. New procedures have gone into place to help facilitate GAVS registration for students. Attached below are two documents, which should be opened and used in order. The first details the regulations for GAVS courses at North Oconee High School. If you meet the qualifications listed in the first document, the second document is a request form that must be completed.
Notable changes in GAVS courses for this year are:
1) GAVS courses must be taken on campus
2) GAVS courses will be limited to courses NOT taught at either NOHS or OCHS.
3) Seats in GAVS courses will be limited to the bounds of supervision and technology access.
The deadline to request a GAVS course is May 20th.
