The Athens Area Human Relations Council will award an unspecified amount of scholarships to seniors in the Athens area (Clarke, Madison, Oconee, or Oglethorpe). This organization exists to promote human rights and equality for all. The application is linked below and must be completed in blue or black ink. The application must be postmarked by October 31, 2015.

Need help improving your scholarship applying skills? There will be a scholarship application workshop offered by the Athens Area Human Relations Council for students seeking to improve their skills in this area on September 22, 2015 5:30-6:30 at the Oconee County Library. No registration or appointment is required.
Human Relations Meeting:
Last, if human rights are important to you (they probably are), there will be meeting in Athens on October 24, 2015. Many topics like peer pressure, bullying, respect and multi media issues will be addressed. Attached is a flyer that will give you all of the information possible.
