We sent out a message a few weeks ago about registering for the SAT. This Saturday is the LAST administration of the OLD SAT. The new SAT will be given in March for the first time with scores not being available until May or June (way too late to help you get in to MOWR (aka- Dual Enrollment) with one of our colleges. There is a stand-by testing option that you can select that may get your student in to take the SAT this Saturday if he or she did not already register. Here is what one of our fellow Titan parents sent me this week:
I wanted to let you know what I learned when I called the College Board the day after the deadline for the January test. They said we missed the deadline for a guaranteed seat but we could register to be on the wait list for any seats that are available the day of the test. They said they would charge $1 to our credit card and then, if a seat became available, they would charge the rest. I hope this info is helpful.
