The Marine Corps League of Athens, GA announces the availability of a scholarship for the continuing education of a senior graduating from a high school in any of the following counties: Clarke, Oconee, Madison, Oglethorpe, Barrow, and Jackson. The award, in the amount of $1,000.00, can be used to defray the costs of tuition, books, supplies at accredited public or private institutions of higher learning or technical schools. The application and supporting documents must be submitted with a postmark dated no later than April 15, 2016.
