Georgia Power is once again recruiting students for the 21st
Century Leaders program, a week-long summer leadership institute, and Georgia
Power is serving as the corporate sponsor. Please see the attachments for
details and any questions you may have. Applications are due March 28th. Ninety
students will be selected.
Students are required to submit an application and secure a
recommendation from a teacher, counselor or youth leader. Students must be
currently a freshman, sophomore or junior. There is no cost for the program,
but transportation is required.
EarthCare: The Leadership Challenge of the 21st Century will
be hosted by Berry College in Rome, GA during June 12 –
17.

The students also learn about several things that Georgia
Power is doing to preserve and protect our environment, including energy
audits, a plant tour and a group project.
