This one day conference is designed specifically for high
school students interested in writing.
Participants will attend workshops taught by published (and award

NYC. He used to write for the CBS News (including for Dan Rather and Walter
Cronkite). He is also the author of the book A Beginner’s Life. The workshop
will also feature a contest for Fiction, Non Fiction, Poetry and Short Video.
Students can submit their entries to abacyoungwriters@gmail.com
Other faculty include Sandra Giles (ABAC Professor of
English), Brandi Arrington (faculty advisor to Pegasus), Tom Grant (DuPont
