The Athens Area Human Relations Council, Inc. invites high school college-bound seniors at NOHS to attend the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Orientation which will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 6:30 pm at the Athens Regional Library, 2025 Baxter Street, Athens. It is important to note that attendance is mandatory. All information regarding this scholarship will be shared at the orientation. If a student cannot attend the orientation, he/she need not submit an application. We will also share additional community scholarship information. These scholarships are only awarded to students attending high schools in Oconee, Madison, Oglethorpe or Clarke Counties.
The council is requiring students to attend the session to demonstrate true interest in the scholarship. Community Service during the months of August, 2016-November, 2016 is also mandatory. Please make plans to attend, if you are interested in this opportunity.
