Knights Of Columbus Youth Essay Contest

Students in grades 8 through 12 are invited to participate in the 2016 Knights of Columbus Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest. The local contest, sponsored by Council 6514, is open to students in public, private, parochial, and home schools throughout the Athens area. Students are encouraged to write a 500 to 750 word essay on the theme of “The Importance of Religious Freedom.” Awards will be given for the best essays at each grade level. Participants are required to furnish written parental consent, and should carefully observe all submission guidelines.

Entry materials may be obtained from the Center office, or contact Kevin James at kevin@kevinjames.us to request forms or further information via e-mail. The submission deadline is Friday, October 21st.
