My name is Dexter L. Fisher and I’m the Director of the
Scholarship Committee for the Cavalier’s Club of Athens. I am very pleased to inform you that Clark
Central, Cedar Shoals, Oconee, and North Oconee High Schools have been chosen
to receive one of three $500.00 dollars
Cavalier’s Club of Athens Financial Aid Scholarships to students who have
achieved high academic standards all four years of high school. Last year
Santana Baldwin (Clarke Central), Quinton Elder (Cedar Shoals), and Essence
Scott (North Oconee) were awarded scholarships. Cavalier’s Club criteria and
attachment are below, any students that fit our criteria is eligible for the

Cavalier Scholarship Criteria:
- High School Graduate (graduating on schedule)
- GPA – 3.00
- Letter of Accepted in post-secondary
school (College or Technical School)
- 3 letters of recommendation (one must be
from a teacher)
- Completed application by due date March 1,
2016
- Official Transcript
