Georgia Driver's Education Commission

The Georgia Driver's Education Commission launched a new grant scholarship program on March 1, 2017. The program allows studentss to apply for driver's education grant scholarship and, upon award, choose a driver training school of their choice from a list of authorized providers to complete a driver's education course consiting of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction. Online applications are due by the 5th day of each month. See the attached letter and brochure for more information.
The Georgia Driver's Education Grant Has been set up to assist families in paying for this program that is required to get a driver's license at age 16.  These classes can be quite expensive!  This program will award funds to cover the cost of the driver's education program that the family chooses.  Applications can be completed at www.georgiadrivers.ga.gov
