This Is How It Works

Our office is constantly blown away by the information that college admission offices offer for students and parents.  We gain a vast amount of our insight and knowledge by reading their admissions blogs.  The University of Georgia and Georgia Tech have released two great nuggets of information.  Their lessons can be applied to a variety of schools - so even if you are not interested in either school, both articles have great "take away" concepts.  Check them out below:

Swipe Left Or Swipe Right- University of Georgia post that deals with the way admission information can be distorted by students and parents.  What a great read if you are caught up in what other families and students are saying about their admission process.

That's Not How It Works (#TNHIW)- Georgia Tech has created a great read that shares the process of how to navigate their wait-list and is there an option to appeal an admission decision.  This was an eye opening read and can be helpful for families trying to navigate this process.
