Emory's CORE (Cultural Overnight Recruitment Experience)

The application deadline is August 16.

Emory's CORE (Cultural Overnight Recruitment Experience) fall visit program supports talented, high-achieving seniors from underrepresented backgrounds in their college search.

Students invited to CORE are traditionally either first-generation college students and/or from underrepresented cultural or socioeconomic backgrounds.

This is a free 3-day, 2-night overnight program where students stay in a residence hall and visit classes.

How should students apply to CORE?
Submit the CORE application.

Along with general information about themselves, students will need to submit:
  • Senior year class schedule
  • SAT and/or ACT test scores (self-reported)
  • Copy of their transcript
  • Their resume
The Admission Committee will review all CORE applications and communicate decisions by Friday, September 6th.

Thank you for sharing about this opportunity with students who may be a good fit.
