As a reminder, Hopkins will be hosting its 3rd annual Humanities Overnight Program in spring 2020 and we are asking you to nominate your students for this unique opportunity! There is no limit to how many students you can nominate for the program.

On Monday, March 2-Tuesday, March 3, 2020, we will welcome a small group of high school juniors with an expressed interest in the humanities to our undergraduate Homewood campus in Baltimore, Maryland. This is an incredible opportunity for your top humanities students to spend 24 hours on our campus and meet with current students and faculty.
This expenses-paid program will include opportunities to:
Participants will stay overnight in on-campus housing. Meals, lodging, and transportation to and from campus will be paid for by the university.
— Who would be a good candidate?
Strong candidates are students who are taking a rigorous course load during their junior year (particularly in English, history, or other humanities-focused classes) and are succeeding academically. These should be promising students you feel would thrive in an academic environment like ours.
— Timeline
All nominations must be submitted by Monday, December 2, 2019. Students will be notified of their nomination in mid-December and can then apply directly to the program. To apply, they will need an unofficial copy of their high school transcript and junior year courses. Decisions will be released late-January. More information about the program can be found here.
Please note: Space is limited. Students should not make travel plans until their spot in the program is confirmed by the Admissions Office. Applicants to the Humanities Overnight Program cannot be considered without a nomination.
