War Eagle!

I wanted to share with you a great opportunity for young women who are rising high school juniors and seniors!

Auburn University’s McWhorter School of Building Science is offering a Construction Management Summer Academy for Young Women June 9-13, 2020. We are currently accepting applications and students can apply online here (www.aub.ie/construct4women > click the Apply tab). The deadline to apply is April 1st.

Applications will be reviewed and selected applicants will be eligible for a scholarship to cover the camp costs (4 nights / 5 days; travel to & from Auburn, AL not included ).

This camp will be a great camp for any young women considering university to continue their learning and exploration of the world of Architecture, Construction, Civil Engineering or Environmental Design. The CM Summer Academy will give them the opportunity to complete hands-on and experiential learning activities incorporating construction drawings, materials/methods, and technologies. We will teach the students about safety management principles, field operations, project management, preconstruction services and other key topics in the industry.

Overall we feel this camp will be a great way for young women to explore the construction management field! If you are willing and able to share this opportunity,  please feel free to do so.
